Book An Online GP Consultation
Online GP Appointment
For InvestIN students (12–18)
If your child feels unwell on programme, a GP sees them the same day by video and treatment starts straight away — advice on the call, or a prescription sent to a pharmacy near the venue while they wait.
Nobody does this on their own.
01
They tell someone
Any member of InvestIN staff.
02
A guardian books it
And tells you an appointment is happening.
03
A GP sees them
Same day, with the guardian sitting in throughout.
04
Treatment starts
Advice on the call, or a prescription sent while you wait.
05
It goes home
A written summary to you, and to their own GP.
An adult with them, and you kept informed, at every step — there is no point on this line where your child is on their own, or where you are not told.
This is not an emergency service.
If a student is seriously unwell or injured — struggling to breathe, unresponsive, badly hurt — call 999 and tell programme staff. Do not wait for an appointment.
What a video GP can do, and what needs a person in the room.
We can usually help
- Sore throats, earache, coughs and temperatures
- Hay fever, rashes, eczema, bites and stings
- A regular medicine run out, or an inhaler left at home
- Stomach upsets, vomiting and diarrhoea
- Urine infections and period problems
- Sprains, blisters, sunburn and small wounds
- Trouble sleeping, homesickness, feeling anxious or low
These need to be seen in person
- Difficulty breathing, or asthma not settling with an inhaler
- Chest pain, fainting, or a seizure
- A head injury, or a possible broken bone
- Severe stomach pain, or a rash that doesn’t fade
- A serious allergic reaction — adrenaline first, then 999
- Thoughts of self-harm, or a mental health crisis
- Any student getting worse rather than better
