What is DrOnline OnePlan?
DrOnline OnePlan is a private GP membership that provides excellent access to GP appointments whenever you need them, 365 days a year.
Members can book video GP consultations for a wide range of healthcare needs including general GP advice, sick notes, referrals, dermatology concerns, medical letters and medical questionnaires.
The plan also includes self-referral questionnaires and 15% discount on additional DrOnline services.
A fair use policy applies to ensure excellent access for all members.
Who can use DrOnline OnePlan?
DrOnline OnePlan is available to individuals and families who want convenient and reliable access to private GP care.

How does the service work?
Getting started is simple.

All consultations are conducted by fully qualified UK-registered GPs.

Can I receive medication through DrOnline?
Yes.
If clinically appropriate, our GPs can issue private medication recommendations which can be supplied via your local pharmacy following your consultation.
Please note:
- Medications are generally limited to a maximum of one month’s supply per consultation
- For ongoing treatments, doctors may issue up to three consecutive one-month supplies across three appointments for the same medication, where clinically appropriate
- Medication costs charged by pharmacies are not included in the membership
- Different rules may apply within specialised services such as Women’s Health.
Can I get a sick note, referral or medical letter?
Yes.
DrOnline GPs can provide:

These are usually provided quickly and securely following your consultation.
When are GP appointments available?
DrOnline OnePlan provides excellent access to GP appointments 365 days a year.
Video consultations are available seven days a week, including evenings and weekends, helping you access healthcare when it suits your schedule.

How do I sign up?

Can I cancel my membership?
Yes.
Membership can be cancelled at the end of your billing period, depending on whether you selected quarterly or yearly billing.
Who cannot use the service?
DrOnline is designed for non-emergency medical care delivered via video consultation. There are certain situations where our service cannot provide treatment.
Emergency Care
We cannot provide treatment for medical emergencies, including: – Severe chest pain – Stroke symptoms – Serious injuries or trauma – Severe infections requiring hospital care If you experience a medical emergency, please call 999 or attend A&E immediately.
Vaccinations
Vaccinations require in-person administration by a healthcare professional, therefore they cannot be delivered through our video consultation service.
Dental Issues
We are not licensed to diagnose or treat dental problems. For urgent dental concerns, please contact your dentist or call NHS 111 out of hours.
Controlled Drugs and Specialist Medications
Our service does not authorise certain medications, including (not exhaustive): – Controlled drugs – Opiate-based medications – Immunosuppressant medications – Treatments for ADHD These medications require specialist assessment and monitoring which cannot be safely provided through our service.
COVID Antiviral Treatments
COVID antiviral medications must be initiated and monitored by specialist clinical teams. If you believe you may require these medications, please contact NHS 111 for further guidance.
Location Requirement
Patients must be physically located in the UK at the time of their video consultation.
