Dr Robinson graduated from Nottingham University in 2008. She completed Foundation training in London and then moved to the North East of England for GP training which she completed in 2013. She worked as an NHS GP for 7 years before branching into a more specialist role in Sexual health and online GP work.

Dr Robinson now lives on the North East coast with her husband and two young children. She splits her role between working as an NHS Specialty Doctor in Sexual Health and working for Dr Online as a GP. She also does locum GP work from time to time with other services.
